This model was created for AEgis Technologies.

It is a scale display model of their Bell 412 Flight Simulator which was built for the RSAF. 

 

It was modeled in 3D Studio Max and CAD software. Components were printed in PLA filament on a Robo3D. The electronics are composed of an Arduino Leonardo Board, a servo motor shield, six servos, a cooling fan, and an on/off switch. The motors run on a programmed motion loop which includes a blending of pitch, roll, and yaw motion. It simulates a Stewart Platform design. 

 

I was responsible for 3D modeling and design, printing, and assembly of the model, as well as configuration and programming of the electronics. I also authored an instruction manual for basic maintenance.
